Vincents Chair Pipe by A.D. Padgett 2017
This final work is arguably not a contemporary art work. It is my claim that this is the same pipe as used in "Vincent's Chair" 1888, a painting held in the National Gallery, London. It has the same features as the painted pipe (with allowance for artistic difference). A better example cannot be found. It was made in Paris around the 1880s and was owned by a Parisian artist who was represented by the gallery that Theo Van Gogh worked for and who died the same year as Vincent Van Gogh. Marchel Duchamp claimed a urinal is art and I claim that this is the same pipe as used on Van Gogh's chair.

Licking Vincent's Sunflowers by A.D. Padgett 2017
This youtube film https://youtu.be/I4pchPPufG8 shows Padgett creating a version of Sunflowers by licking the paint onto a framed screen. It looks at Vincent's episodes of eating paint when at the Sanitorium and also recreates some of the shock that 19th century viewers would have experienced when seeing Vincent's work.
